This is SO Bubbly-Making

To answer your questions, I think the verb-making actually kicks off in book 2. There are three "main" books -- Uglies, Pretties, and Specials. Took me a long time to read (listen) to book 4 -- Extras, which has a new cast of characters. Some of the original characters ARE in the book, and there's actually a lovely bit of closure to some of the bits from the first three... But it's definitely "extra." LOL. Having just listened to it, tho, I'd recommend it to finish off the series.

FAKING IT

However, without a way to cure Ty, they have no way of knowing who poses the greater threat: Ty or the unknown enemy.
