Not quite as tall as the book Jacob, but a good-looking kid. (g) He definitely has that brooding quality, though I'm not sure he's quite as boyish/happy as I would've thought.
Two of the friends I introduced TWILIGT to work in radio. We’re planning a premiere party on the 21st. It’s quite a diverse group with the radio guys, a few of our church’s pastors, their wives, local law enforcement and who knows who else. I’ve already threatened to smack down any rabid fan girl that comes between me and my ticket.
And if they do NEW MOON, etc. that Jacob kid's gonna have to hunk up a bit.
Ohh, that sounds like fun. (g) It seems like I'm the _only one_ I know who loves these books (here, that is) and is going all ga-ga over the movie coming out. That is, me and a couple of the young hostesses I work with. They're all in their teens, so I don't know what to say about it all. (g)
And yeah, I agree. He's not exactly the Jacob I pictured...but ah well, hopefully he'll do a good job. As for Joe v. Ranger...love 'em both. (g)

PS: I don't know if you already know this, but for a larger frame see here http://www.myspace.com/trailerpark
This looks surprisingly good!
Didn't see Jacob though - do you know who they got to play him?
Thanks, Nina. I'll check it out!
Tara,

Jen,
He is a cute kid, and definitely has potential as Jacob.
I really was pulling more for Jacob in the first book. His character interests me more than Edward does.
Of course, I'm one of I think 3 people in the entire world that prefers Joe over Ranger, so there you go! (g)

Tara,
I agree with you on Joe, but not Jacob.

Tara,
LOL...well, I'll admit I like BOTH Ranger and Joe. (g) They both have their good/bad points...gah, no idea how she'll decide.
As for Edward vs. Jacob. I'm totally for Edward, though he has his jerkish moments. lol.
